Kirsty Currie is a paper artist and illustrator based on the West Coast of Scotland. Working from her wee home studio in Oban, she creates playful and interactive paper goods including prints, cards, paper 3D models and original art pieces.Her work is mainly inspired by the West Coast of Scotland with its endless, stunning and diverse landscapes, along with its fascinating culture and heritage - ultimately aiming to encourage people to explore and appreciate whats on there front doorstep.Using paper as her medium, she focuses on bold colour and bold compositions to create highly stylised images and objects, using a process of tactile paper collage and paper engineering that gives a unique 3 - dimensional effect to her work.
