Natural Dyeing (Cotton and Linen) 2 Day Workshop

Learn to dye cotton, linen and other cellulose fabrics with plant dyes. On the first day (10 - 1pm) we will learn about preparing and mordanting . The mordanted fabric needs to be dried overnight. On the second day (10 - 4) we will fix the mordant, extract dyes from different dyeplants and dye the fabric. You will take home samples of fabric that you have dyed in the workshop. All materials provided.
